About The Position

As an Operations Lead, you are the heartbeat of the production floor and the go-to expert on the line. You coach your team, troubleshoot technology, and ensure every product meets quality standards while driving performance and supporting growth opportunities. The role includes monitoring production, maintaining food safety and quality, setting up and adjusting machinery, resolving basic mechanical issues, and maintaining facility safety and sanitation.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
• Must be able to become certified to operate equipment.
• Must be able to problem solve and perform basic math.
• Must be able to stand continuously and perform repetitive hand and finger movements at line speed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, including above the head and below the waist.
• Must be able to work in varying temperature conditions.
• Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed and adjust quickly to changing demands.
• Must practice good personal hygiene.

Nice To Haves

• Industry experience is a plus; previous food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive hour-by-hour line performance by auditing hourly scanning and correcting variances immediately.
• Consolidate production data and documentation in the dashboard every two hours to ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain meat quality and temperature standards and complete required HACCP documentation to ensure food safety compliance.
• Set up and tear down machinery, including installing and removing tooling, dies, and molds.
• Manage and adjust production parameters such as pressures, weights, temperatures, sizing, and mix times.
• Perform minor equipment adjustments and troubleshooting to resolve mechanical issues and minimize downtime.
• Safely operate a powered industrial truck when necessary.
• Maintain sanitation across the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
