About The Position

Trane Technologies is a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable, and efficient climate solutions for buildings, homes, and transportation. The company emphasizes its commitment to putting the planet first, stating that sustainability is integral to its business. This 12-week summer internship program is designed for current college students, offering challenging assignments, leadership training, exposure to senior leaders, and networking opportunities. Interns will gain experience in various operational areas including Lean Production, Planning Strategy, Operational Excellence, Ergonomics & Safety, Sourcing/Procurement Cycle, Material Handling, Sales Inventory Operations Planning, and Productivity Generation & Tracking. The program also provides participants with an opportunity to interview for full-time, post-graduate Accelerated Development Programs for Operations or direct hire roles.

  • Willing to be mobile and relocate anywhere in the United States
  • Pursuing a BS/BA in Industrial Engineering, Applied Science Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business with Supply Chain Emphasis, or Supply Chain Management with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0
  • At least one internship or work experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects
  • U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
