About The Position
Schneider is seeking an Operations Intern in Chicago, Illinois, to support its operations team. The intern will solve problems as they arise, complete administrative processes, and gain transportation experience. The internship includes opportunities to network with Schneider associates, attend professional skills trainings led by Schneider leaders, participate in business resource group meetings and events, take part in volunteer activities, and join after-work social gatherings.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a college or university.
- Working toward an associate or bachelor’s degree.
- Able to work full-time over the summer.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Work with various systems and programs.
- Work with teams including customer service, safety, and equipment maintenance.
- Respond to driver phone calls and messages.
- Resolve customer and equipment issues.
- Solve operational problems and complete administrative processes.
