About The Position

CRST The Transportation Solution is seeking energetic, focused, and driven students for its summer internship program within the Dedicated Solutions division. This program offers students the chance to gain practical on-the-job experience, make a difference, and contribute to the company's success. The Operations Intern will gain hands-on experience with CRST's processes and transportation management practices, assist in improving the efficiency of company assets and equipment, and collaborate with various departments. Requirements

• Pursuing a business-related 4-year bachelor’s degree from accredited university
• Sophomore - Junior-level college student pursuing a degree within Business, Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain or a similar field
• Minimum 2.5 or above GPA
• Exhibit a strong work ethic and loyalty
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Has strong aspirations for future success in business or management
• Self-starter with high personal motivation and desire to take initiative and ownership
• Ability to multi-task and problem-solve effectively
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Basic oral and written communication skills
• Maximizes relationships, fosters collaboration, and builds trust
• Applicants must be enrolled in undergraduate courses at least the fall semester following the summer internship.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience with CRST’s processes and day-to-day operations
• Learn and apply basic transportation management practices to support business functions
• Assist in improving the efficiency of company assets and equipment
• Work with various departments and develop effective communication skills
• Show a strong work ethic, loyalty, and commitment to success in all tasks
• Demonstrate interest in pursuing a career in business or management
• Handle multiple tasks and solve problems effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Learn from Senior Leaders and present project and experience to them at the end of the summer
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance while performing other duties as assigned to support team and business needs
