Integrated Solutions Intern
About The Position
A spring-to-summer internship designed to build technical, customer support, and field service skills using John Deere Precision Ag technology. The internship is divided into two semesters: Spring Semester (January-May, Part-Time) involves completing John Deere University coursework, learning about Operations Center, GPS, guidance systems, and connectivity, shadowing Integrated Solutions specialists, answering customer calls, and learning support processes. The Summer Semester (May-August, Full-Time) focuses on supporting equipment setup and delivery, assisting customers remotely and in the field, performing software updates and machine technology checks, troubleshooting Precision Ag systems during planting and harvest, and working directly with growers and dealership teams. The internship aims to support customers using Precision Ag technology, troubleshoot common display, guidance, and connectivity issues, assist with field service and equipment setup, and develop interns into future Integrated Solutions professionals.
Requirements
- Precision Agriculture, Agricultural Technology, ASM, Agribusiness, Information Systems or related majors
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Passion for agriculture and technology
- Students currently enrolled in AG Tech programs or Solutions Based Program
- Must be willing to download company apps on your personal phone
