Operations & Finance Leadership Program (January 2027 Start)
About The Position
Castleton Commodities International (CCI) is a leading global energy commodities merchant and infrastructure asset investor. The Operations & Finance Leadership Program aims to identify and develop future leaders within CCI's Operations, Finance, and commercial businesses. This two-year rotational program offers participants exposure to various support functions such as settlements, trading operations, treasury, credit, tax, enterprise improvement, and product control. Associates will also work on strategic initiatives and projects. The program includes four six-month rotations, providing exposure to the commercial side of the business and core functions. Rotations are matched for development and growth opportunities, with training provided in industry knowledge, leadership, and technical skills. Associates may receive employment offers during the program, which would conclude their rotations if accepted.
Requirements
- Pursuing Bachelors in Business, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Physics or a related field of study
- Expected graduation date of Spring 2026 or December 2026
- Excellent analytical and technical skills in Excel, VBA is a plus
- Database management experience is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Desire to make a difference and ability to be forward thinking
- Superior communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work as an effective team player and add value to team
Nice To Haves
- Prior internship/exposure to the commodities markets, or experience with other financial institutions and consulting is preferred
Responsibilities
- Gain exposure to a variety of support functions including: settlements, trading operations, treasury, credit, tax, enterprise improvement, and product control.
- Work on special projects around strategic initiatives and strategy for the organization.
- Participate in four different six-month rotations among different groups.
- Gain exposure to the commercial side of the business in addition to the core functions of each rotation.
- Develop an understanding of CCI's approach to various opportunities across global markets.
- Volunteer at selected charities for 2 days annually.
