About The Position

The Operations & Finance Leadership Program at Castleton Commodities International (CCI) is a two-year rotational program designed to identify and develop future leaders in Operations, Finance, and potentially commercial businesses. Participants will gain exposure to various support functions such as settlements, trading operations, treasury, credit, tax, enterprise improvement, data management, P&L, and product control. They will also work on strategic initiatives and projects. The program involves up to four six-month rotations, offering insights into the commercial side of the business alongside core functions. Rotations are matched for development and growth opportunities, with training provided in industry understanding, leadership, and technical skills. Offers of employment may be extended by any group during the program.

Requirements

• Pursuing Bachelors in Business, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Physics or a related field of study
• Expected graduation date of Spring 2027
• Excellent analytical and technical skills
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Desire to make a difference and ability to be forward thinking
• Superior communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work as an effective team player and add value to team

Nice To Haves

• Excel, Python & SQL are a plus
• Database management experience is a plus
• Prior internship/exposure to the commodities markets, or experience with other financial institutions and consulting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to a variety of support functions including: settlements, trading operations, treasury, credit, tax, enterprise improvement, data management, P&L and product control.
• Work on special projects around strategic initiatives and strategy for the organization.
• Participate in up to four different six-month rotations among different groups.
• Gain exposure to the commercial side of the business in addition to the core functions of each rotation.
• Volunteer at selected charities for 2 days annually as part of the CCI in the Community program.
