About The Position

Marken, UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics, is seeking daily delivery drivers with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The role involves transporting shipments to and from airports and client sites, handling shipment documentation and preparation, and supporting the Operations Team. These are full-time, permanent positions with good pay and benefits. A background in EMT, law enforcement, or the military is a plus.

Requirements

High school education or GED.
At least 1 year of professional driving experience.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Experience driving in the courier or freight industry is preferred.
Background in EMT, law enforcement, or the military is a plus.

Responsibilities

Review the Cargo Receiving Log daily.
Deliver shipments to and recover shipments from the airport.
Secure the vehicle while waiting to tender cargo at an airline terminal or while conducting a client-site pickup.
Check Airway Bills for accurate and correct information.
Review the documentation, labeling, and markings included with each shipment.
Prepare Next Flight Out (NFO) shipments.
Replenish shipments requiring dry ice with the proper weight of dry ice, and replenish shipments requiring Gel packs for temperature chain of custody.
Scan, package, and label inbound shipments before tendering them for domestic or international final destination.
Keep the Vehicle Log up to date whenever using vehicles, including mileage and initial inspection before loading cargo for TSA compliance.
Help the Operations Team complete daily tasks and perform other duties as required.
Adhere to all company policies.
Undertake other reasonable duties at the request of the Line Manager or Branch Manager.
