About The Position

We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team, who is adept at keeping projects progressing, events meticulously organized, and the office functioning seamlessly. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and supporting various aspects of event execution and administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional work experience.
  • Experience in operations, administration, event support, hospitality, logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and support event setup as needed.

  • Quickbase experience.
  • Project management platform experience.
  • Slack and collaboration tool experience.
  • Agency, nonprofit, hospitality, or event industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating travel arrangements for staff, speakers, and guests.
  • Providing support for event logistics and on-site execution.
  • Managing the shipping, receiving, and organization of event materials.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Tracking project timelines and ensuring deliverables are met.
  • Supporting vendor communication and processing invoices.
  • Maintaining data and generating reports within Quickbase.
  • Assisting with the onboarding and administration of interns.
  • Ensuring the Washington, DC office is organized, stocked, and running efficiently.
