About The Position

Responsible for scheduling, assigning, managing and monitoring work of capital construction projects.

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
  • This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is a precondition to employment in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safe execution of distribution projects.
  • The incumbent will provide technical support, oversight, scheduling, monitoring, coordination and management updates for projects within the distribution capital portfolio
  • Ensure all work meets company standards and in service dates, while ensuring that all work practices comply with Entergy's safety guidelines and practices.
  • Have extensive knowledge of the distribution system and be able to prepare and carry out both Energized Work Plans (EWP) and switching orders.
  • Work with Engineering, Vegetation, DOC and other departments in seeing that all facilities are constructed and maintained according to company specifications, standards and policies.
  • Ability to work and communicate with external and internal customers.
  • Availability to work emergency or storm restoration as needed.
