About The Position

Support the Operations Manager to coordinate and monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of manufacturing orders. Track inventory levels of manufacturing operations supplies for production; communicate shortages or delays to the Operations Manager. Operations cycle counter and investigate discrepancies with Operations leadership. Assist in planning and implementing operations improvements to increase efficiency to reduce waste. Maintain accurate records of production data, downtime, and resource utilization for Daily Management System (DMS). Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure compliance with product specifications and standards. Verify and continuously update work instructions and training documents to ensure accuracy and alignment with current processes. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management review. Serve as a point of contact for internal departments regarding productions status and priorities. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies throughout the plant. Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field; or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous inventory control, materials handling, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written, with customers, associates, and management personnel.
  • Computer skills, including data entry, retrieval, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Multi-tasking, organizational, and exercising initiative skills.
  • Self-starter, strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic blueprint reading skills.
  • Measuring tool skills (Dial indicators, Micrometer, and Caliber).
  • Reliability and attendance skills.
  • Ability to work with a flexible schedule depending on business needs.
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively to pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively in a TEAM environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 plus pounds; ability to bend, twist, reach, climb, pull, push, stand and squat.
