About The Position

The Operations Coordinator - Warehouse supports daily warehouse operations by coordinating receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. The role prioritizes work orders, communicates with warehouse employees, transportation providers, and internal departments, to meet daily volume and deadline requirements. The Warehouse Coordinator assists with inbound and outbound shipments, checks materials for accuracy and damage, maintains accurate records, and helps resolve shipping, inventory, and documentation issues while following established procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years’ experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory control
  • Must be familiar with MS Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes and Warehouse management systems
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to work independently on tasks and accept direction or given assignments

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred, or equivalent work-related experience
  • Microsoft Teams a plus

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Schedule and prioritize work orders to ensure timely fulfillment of customer and internal requests.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between warehouse staff, transportation, and internal departments.
  • Monitor workflow and reassign resources as needed to meet volume and deadline requirements.
  • Coordinate inbound shipments, including scheduling deliveries and verifying documentation.
  • Inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage; resolve discrepancies with suppliers or carriers.
  • Prepare outbound shipments, ensuring correct labeling, documentation, and carrier compliance.
  • Track shipments and follow up on delays, damages, or delivery issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of receipts, shipments, inventory transactions, and adjustments.
  • Support audits by providing documentation and explanations of warehouse processes.
  • Poses no direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself, of others, or to property. Defined as a significant risk of substantial harm that cannot be eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level by reasonable accommodation.
  • Requires regular attendance to perform essential elements as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work.
  • Performs such individual assignments as management may direct.
