About The Position

The Operations & Communications Coordinator is responsible for managing communications from PSP Group to field leaders, stores, and franchisees. This role provides operational support, organizes materials and information for weekly and quarterly updates, and supports company initiatives that contribute to the overall success of PSP Group.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in communications, operations, or training-related fields, preferably in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and customer interaction skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent skills with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with departments across Pet Central to ensure all documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) remain current, properly formatted, and easily accessible.
  • Maintain and update master listings for all Pet Centers, including key information such as opening dates, district assignments, store services, and ownership details.
  • Oversee store support systems and software, including organizational alignment updates, user maintenance, reporting, and field support.
  • Manage the Store Operations Center (SOC) and related administrative functions, including user setup, store alignment updates, password resets, dashboard maintenance, and category management.
  • Respond to and resolve Operations Issues and SD+ tickets within the appropriate systems in a timely manner.
  • Review and quality-check all messages, tasks, and documents distributed to the field to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and proper grammar.
  • Provide timely support for urgent store communication requests by reviewing content for clarity, accuracy, spelling, and grammar.
  • Compile and organize updates and reports for distribution to field leaders during weekly Operations calls and quarterly business update meetings.
