About The Position

The Operations Associate supports efficient, accurate, and organized operations in the yard facility. The role stages material pickups, completes related paperwork, makes local deliveries, and performs other duties in the yard and office. It supports daily operations in shop and yard facilities, stages and delivers materials accurately, and follows the production schedule to complete orders on time. The role prepares, stages, and loads materials for the next day’s project installations, unloads delivery trucks, and drives materials to work sites or between operational facilities as needed. The position is suited to someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, enjoys outdoor work throughout the year, and is attentive to detail, diligent in following processes and protocols, and able to solve problems quickly. Computer or order-database experience is important to long-term success. The organization emphasizes safety and doing what is right.

Requirements

Welding or fabrication experience.
A self-starter with a strong work ethic.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to maintain an organized work environment.
Current and valid driver’s license.
Prioritize safety measures and follow safety protocols.
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
Willingness and ability to work in all weather conditions.
Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully.
Basic math skills.
General computer skills.
Positive driving record and commitment to safe work habits.

Nice To Haves

Current and valid forklift certification.
Current and valid Class C license.
General construction skills.
Experience in the construction or service industries.
Experience working with an order database.

Responsibilities
