Operations Associate I
About The Position
The Operations Associate I performs assigned manufacturing tasks in accordance with work instructions, internal policies, and procedures. The role supports production by operating light manufacturing equipment and carrying out tasks such as assembly, chemical scouring, visual inspection, and measurement of manufactured products. The associate completes production documents accurately and neatly, identifies and communicates product or process issues, and maintains required cleanliness and safety standards. Work is directed by a Team Lead and/or Supervisor, with coordination with R&D Engineering and Quality as needed.
Responsibilities
- Follow rules and requirements related to GMP, work instructions, documentation, and clean room operations.
- Operate light manufacturing equipment according to instructions, specifications, and procedures.
- Perform assembly, chemical scouring, visual inspection, and measurement of manufactured products.
- Complete assigned duties skillfully and in a timely manner.
- Review and accurately complete required documents and forms neatly and legibly.
- Detect and help address issues or concerns related to products or processes.
- Communicate production concerns or issues to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
- Maintain positive working relationships with coworkers and support groups.
- Maintain 5S cleanliness standards in the personal work area.
- Adhere to and support company policies and procedures.
- Comply with safety policies, practices, and procedures; report unsafe activities to the Team Lead, Supervisor, and/or Human Resources.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
