About The Position

Confluent Medical Technologies is seeking an Operations Associate I to join its Chattanooga team. The role manufactures medical device balloons according to specifications and follows provided documentation, including product drawings, work procedures, and process logs. The associate follows good manufacturing practices in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, communicates issues and requests clarification from a supervisor or lead, and performs other duties as required. Work shifts may need to be modified based on business conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, and 0–2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English to comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP).
• Some computer proficiency and willingness to learn the computer systems needed for the role.
• Strong attention to detail, a professional attitude, and ability to work as a team player.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and modify work shift as needed based on business conditions.
• Ability to stand and walk significantly on an ongoing basis, sit and stand, and use arms, hands, and fingers to perform duties.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Proof of 20/20 or better vision, unaided or corrected.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture medical device balloons according to specifications.
• Read, follow, and accurately complete product drawings, work procedures, process logs, and other provided documentation.
• Follow good manufacturing practices, including line clearance, work instructions, and documentation requirements.
• Prioritize effectively and manage multiple process responsibilities.
• Execute tasks independently and demonstrate personal initiative.
• Communicate problems to a supervisor or lead and seek clarification when needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
