About The Position

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the School Principal, Operations Associate, and/or his/her designee, the Operations Assistant is responsible for providing support for the day-to-day operations of the school.
  • Serve as the backbone of the school’s day-to-day operations.
  • Assist with parent and community communications.
  • Assist with morning arrival and dismissal duties.
  • Assist with daily operational logistics.
  • Assist with lunchroom and/or bathroom supervision.
  • Assist in setting a high standard of operational excellence throughout the school building.
  • Support execution of school systems (e.g., breakfast and lunch duty, morning arrival and afternoon dismissal assistance).
  • Assist in the creation and execution of school operational systems and structures that support the smooth operation of the school.
  • Monitor all student entrances/exits while using our student information systems and Scholarchip.
  • Provide administrative support including but not limited to data entry, making photocopies and taking inventory of and restocking supplies.
  • Assist with the student registration process, including using Schoolmint, collecting documents, and making phone calls.
  • Support all recruitment efforts.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, place outgoing calls, and send mass communications when delegated.
  • Monitor student bathroom usage.
  • Assist in school-based programs that promote student engagement, parent involvement, and community outreach.
  • Assist in the ongoing enhancement of community programs developed to provide services to students.
  • Provide assistance to the Principal and other school staff in support of outreach efforts to the community; attendance calls, etc.
  • Participate in projects designed to increase engagement, opportunity, and success for students, families, and the school community.
  • Improve and encourage participation in school-related community development programs.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
