Community Partners in Action (CPA) is seeking an Operations Assistant for the Hartford Alternative in the Community (AIC) program. CPA, founded nearly 150 years ago, champions criminal justice reform and advocates for the dignity of individuals. Through programs like reentry and housing, youth initiatives, a Prison Arts Program, and alternatives to incarceration, CPA positively transforms individuals and society. Annually serving over 4,000 individuals in Connecticut, CPA is supported by individuals, government, private funders, organizations, and businesses. CPA is committed to a BEDI (Belonging, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) culture, aiming to build an inclusive and equitable workplace and drive criminal justice reform in CT that ends racial inequities and ensures humanity and dignity for those interacting with the system. The Hartford Alternatives in the Community (HAIC) program serves male and female clients aged 18 and above involved in the Connecticut criminal justice system. Its mission is to reduce recidivism by delivering interventions that foster behavior change, utilizing an evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Theory/Motivational model to equip clients with necessary skills.
