About The Position
Trimble is hiring an Operations Analyst for its two-year Rotational Development Program, starting in July 2027 in Dayton, Ohio. The program consists of four six-month rotations across business divisions and offers exposure to manufacturing, logistics, and strategic supply chain management. Participants take on hands-on projects in purchasing, data management, new product introduction, and fulfillment optimization, with structured support for placement after the program aligned with their long-term career goals. The role requires 10% travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, or Engineering.
- At least one relevant prior internship or up to three years of professional experience in operations or supply chain functions.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Ability to start in Dayton, Ohio, in July 2027.
- Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and agility in adapting to shifting priorities within a collaborative team structure.

- Practical experience applying AI, computer vision, or machine learning to manufacturing optimization, quality control, or autonomous procurement.
- Advanced expertise in data analytics tools applied to demand forecasting, inventory management, or logistics planning.

Responsibilities
- Qualify vendors, negotiate competitive pricing, and optimize global procurement processes.
- Coordinate new product introductions from concept to production, including forecasts, material movements, and engineering releases.
- Optimize fulfillment center operations and material flow through data-driven logistics management and inventory forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to maintain enterprise data warehouses and improve operational data integrity.
