About The Position

At Bank of America, the Operations Analyst analyzes day-to-day issues, conducts research, and provides resolutions for issues identified within a business unit. The role supports established procedures, performs routine analytics, creates reports, and completes exception processing. Within global payment operations investigations, the analyst learns wire payment processing, including wire lifecycles, formats, products, and settlement flows, and uses multiple processing applications to research and resolve exceptions. The role also supports changes and improvements to operational processes, products, and services.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience with wires or research and analysis in a production environment.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Risk and resolve experience.
• Strong time-management and prioritization skills, including the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, adapt, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with payment investigation systems, including Global Investigations-Payments/Wires, Cash Manager, QZ Task, or Cashpro FX.
• Experience implementing process improvements and automation.
• Understanding of Dodd-Frank.
• Demonstrated leadership, including leading through change and process improvements to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to internally established production standards while executing procedures accurately.
• Learn and understand payment processing, including the lifecycle and format of a wire, wire transfer products, and wire settlement flows.
• Navigate multiple processing applications to conduct research and exception processing.
• Adapt to and execute procedural, system, and operational changes within wire processing functions.
• Assist with coordinating implementation of products, services, and operational solutions.
• Support the design, documentation, implementation, and monitoring of new products and services.
• Provide guidance regarding procedural, technical, and operational changes.
• Expand knowledge of business products within the operations environment.
• Build relationships with partners and teammates.
• Inspect data to identify issues and trends.
• Collect and interpret data to validate operational processes.
