About The Position
This is an Operations Analyst II position in the General Tax Administration Program's Account Management Process, Rate Unit. The incumbent uses extensive knowledge of Florida tax laws for registration purposes and conducts in-depth research and analysis of tax information filed with the Department. The role includes researching and evaluating tax documents and information submitted for registration to determine the correct distribution of funds, communicating with taxpayers and their representatives, service centers, and other agency personnel, and resolving account maintenance issues.
Requirements
- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
- Experience communicating with taxpayers to explain and interpret tax-related issues.
- Experience as a Revenue Specialist III or higher within the Account Management Process, Rate Unit.
- Experience researching, interpreting, and applying Florida tax laws.
