About The Position

The Operations Analyst II is a position in the Florida Department of Revenue’s General Tax Administration Program, Taxpayer Services Process, Collections Unit. The incumbent assists taxpayers by telephone and written correspondence regarding departmental billings and delinquencies, and takes appropriate action to resolve accounts. The role examines and updates departmental or taxpayer records, which may require additional contact with taxpayers or other department personnel to reach a final resolution. The incumbent also provides accurate information and assists taxpayers or other department specialists with questions about filing obligations and departmental rules, policies, and procedures. The successful candidate will be required to answer a large volume of calls for up to 7.5 hours a day.

Requirements

Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue within the General Tax Administration Program.
One year of experience researching, reviewing, and resolving complex Florida tax account issues using master data and financial information in the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX).

Responsibilities
