About The Position

The Operational Program Director (OPD) leads and coordinates programs serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, medical needs, and/or autism. The position combines direct care with supervisory responsibilities and manages programs in the Washington/Ramsey County, Minnesota area. This is a full-time organizational position, though it may be part-time within any given home. The schedule must be flexible to meet program, individual, and staff needs. The OPD is on call at all times unless prior arrangements assign emergency calls to someone with comparable authority. The OPD ensures direct-service shifts are staffed by employees who meet employment conditions and have been adequately oriented and trained. The OPD may occasionally work direct-service shifts, normally no more than 16 hours per week; working more requires notifying a supervisor in advance when possible and following the stated policy. Schedule adjustments, when necessary, should be arranged with the director.
