Operational Excellence Supervisor
About The Position
The Operational Excellence Supervisor role reports to Ian Francis and is responsible for managing a multi-disciplined technical staff across all production areas in ATMC Fab. The role involves identifying continuous improvement opportunities for development, PM planning and execution, and ensuring safety in the manufacturing environment. The supervisor is responsible for employee safety training and compliance, directing development activities for the team, and owning execution of quality and delivery expectations, including product inspections and Equipment PMs. This position provides technical, strategic, and tactical direction for direct reports and is responsible for scheduling shift coverage for the area MST and Sustainer. Key performance metrics include Equipment PM performance and Sustainer Disposition on shift. The role also involves developing training plans and staffing requirements, driving projects for continuous improvement of SDQCP metrics, and developing and evaluating personnel. A significant aspect of the role is teaching, coaching, and mentoring through the development of Total Quality cultural attributes. The supervisor will also provide reports to the area Operations Excellence Section Manager.
Requirements
- Demonstrated effective leadership abilities, cohesive team building and sound decision making.
- Proficient in Excel and other relevant software applications (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to management, direct reports and support teams.
- Strong ethics and a desire to win mentality.
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years’ experience in a wafer fab manufacturing environment.
- BS or equivalent in a related field.
- Understanding of business and management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of human resource management principles and procedures.
- Previous leadership/supervision experience.
- Engineering and/or equipment maintenance experience.
Responsibilities

- Drive projects & achieve goals for continuous improvement of SDQCP metrics.
- Develop and evaluate personnel to ensure quality work is performed.
- Teach, coach and mentor through development of the cultural attributes of Total Quality.
- Provide reports to the area Operations Excellence Section Manager.
