About The Position

The Operational Excellence Supervisor role reports to Ian Francis. This position is responsible for managing a multi-disciplined technical staff across all production areas in ATMC Fab and identifying continuous improvement opportunities for development, PM planning, and execution. The role involves supervising employee safety in a manufacturing environment, ensuring safety training and compliance, and directing development activities for the team. The supervisor will own execution of quality and delivery expectations, including product inspections and Equipment PMs, and provide technical, strategic, and tactical direction to direct reports. Responsibilities also include scheduling shift coverage for the area MST and Sustainer, owning Equipment PM performance metrics and Sustainer Disposition metrics on shift, developing training plans and staffing requirements, and driving projects to achieve continuous improvement goals for SDQCP metrics. Additionally, the role involves developing and evaluating personnel to ensure quality work, teaching, coaching, and mentoring through the development of Total Quality cultural attributes, and providing reports to the area Operations Excellence Section Manager.

Requirements

  • Must have demonstrated effective leadership abilities, cohesive team building and sound decision making
  • Must be proficient in Excel and other relevant software applications (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Must have good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to management, direct reports and support teams
  • Must display strong ethics and a desire to win mentality

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years’ experience in a wafer fab manufacturing environment preferred
  • BS or equivalent in a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of business and management principles and practices preferred
  • Knowledge of human resource management principles and procedures preferred
  • Previous leadership/supervision experience is a plus
  • Engineering and/or equipment maintenance experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supervise their safety in manufacturing environment
