About The Position

Diamond Foundry Inc. is seeking an Operational Excellence Specialist to standardize technical knowledge, training, and processes across Equipment Operations. In this hands-on role, you will bridge the gap between engineering and the production floor by translating complex machinery workflows into clear, repeatable training systems and SOPs. You will partner with technicians and leadership to eliminate operational waste and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Technical Writing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
3+ years in manufacturing, continuous improvement, technical training, or quality assurance.
Experience with complex manufacturing equipment is highly preferred.
Proven ability to simplify highly technical engineering processes into concise, usable, and compliant document control frameworks.
Practical knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, structured problem-solving, and data-driven process optimization.
Excellent cross-functional communication, comfort working independently through ambiguity, and an ownership-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

Write, revise, and audit Equipment Operations SOPs, work instructions, and technical materials to ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
Partner with trainers and engineers to build, maintain, and scale technical qualification and cross-training programs.
Lead Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and process-mapping initiatives on the production floor to reduce cycle times and operational variation.
Eliminate "tribal knowledge" by creating scalable, standardized systems to capture and transfer lessons learned across teams.
Support shifting engineering and production priorities by driving ad-hoc projects and system rollouts.
