About The Position

CACI is seeking an Operational Excellence intern for Summer 2027. The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise-wide Operational Excellence initiatives and learn how business operations, risk management, and process improvement functions work together to enhance organizational performance. The intern will work alongside professionals in governance, change management, customer satisfaction, quality, and business operations. The role develops skills in data analysis, process documentation, and operational problem-solving while contributing to projects that strengthen business processes and support the organization's mission success.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university program, majoring in business, operations management, analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Interest in process improvement, operational efficiency, or business operations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

• Previously related experience.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Assist with process mapping, workflow documentation, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Support the collection, organization, and analysis of operational data to inform recommendations.
• Help prepare materials for reviews, performance dashboards, and operational reporting.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives across Operational Excellence teams, including risk, change management, customer satisfaction, and program assurance.
• Provide general project support, including research, documentation updates, and coordination with stakeholders.
