The Operating System Specialist is responsible for supporting the maintenance, audit, and optimization of Powerback Rehab’s contracted computerized billing and documentation platforms. This role provides essential technical assistance to users, ensures system configuration, aligns with organizational policies, and delivers educational programs to drive user proficiency. Requirements

  • Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility.
  • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy; or
  • Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; or
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
  • The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.

  • Extensive experience with Net Health EMR (Electronic Medical Record) and other therapy-specific platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Director in ensuring all system settings and access controls reflect current organizational policies and procedures.
  • Conducts regular system audits to maintain data integrity and documentation standards.
  • Utilizes extensive experience with Net Health EMR (Electronic Medical Record) and other therapy-specific platforms to maintain optimal software performance.
  • Serves as a key corporate contact for employees regarding the day-to-day operation of billing and documentation software.
  • Provides direct support by resolving technical inquiries and troubleshooting software issues for end-users.
  • Delivers high-quality customer service while maintaining professional rapport with coworkers and facility personnel.
  • Projects a positive and professional image in all interactions and corporate representations.
  • Coordinates and facilitates educational programs for employees and customers regarding computerized systems.
  • Maintains meticulous records of training sessions, including dates, subject matter, and attendance metrics.
  • Participates in and reports on system-related updates at assigned corporate and customer meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
