About The Position

Scrubs for surgical procedures and prepares the surgical field based on the specific procedure and surgeon's preference. Performs duties in accordance with stringent aseptic technique standards and Operating Room and hospital policies and procedures. The certification requirement applies only to individuals hired after December 29, 2020.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Operating Room Technician training program that includes on-the-job training, or a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Certification as an Operating Room Technician or Surgical Technician. This requirement applies only to individuals hired after December 29, 2020.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in an operating room.
