About The Position

The Operating Room Technician scrubs for surgical procedures and prepares the surgical field according to the specific procedure and surgeon's preferences. The role maintains strict aseptic techniques while adhering to Operating Room and hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an Operating Room Technician training program, including on-the-job training.
• Certified Operating Room Technician or Certified Surgical Technician certification is required for individuals hired after December 29, 2020.
• An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• One year of operating room experience.
