Operating Room Specialty Technician - Full Time - Days
About The Position
The Operating Room Specialty Technician provides support services to members of the operating room team under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. The technician performs peri-operative duties as required and maintains proper care and storage of supplies, instruments, and equipment used for surgical patient care. The role also records and maintains required documentation for fluid warmers, autoclaves, and room temperature as directed by the OR Manager. The position is full-time, scheduled Monday through Friday, with hours of 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a 595-bed acute care teaching and referral hospital and the flagship hospital of Methodist Health System. It has an adult Level I Trauma Center, a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma and/or GED equivalent.
