About The Position

Surgical Institute of Reading is hiring a full-time Operating Room Nurse (RN Operating Room Circulator). The nurse provides care and service during surgical cases, including positioning and prepping patients and circulating cases. The role involves surgical procedures in specialties including Anesthesia, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Orthopedic Foot & Ankle, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, General Surgery, and Spinal Surgery.

Surgical Institute of Reading is an accredited facility with five operating rooms and one procedure room. The facility offers surgical services in a high-quality, service-oriented environment and emphasizes infection control, patient safety, and surgical efficiency. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available to eligible external hires; the amount is based on years of experience.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• At least 1 year of experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and service during surgical cases.
• Position and prep patients for surgery.
• Circulate surgical cases.
• Support infection control, patient safety, and surgical efficiency.
