About The Position

Broward Specialist Surgical Center is hiring a part-time Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN). The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN is responsible for positioning and preparing patients and circulating cases. The center performs procedures in colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, otolaryngology, pain management, podiatry, and urology.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS certification as required by the center.
• At least one year of experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• Position patients.
• Prepare patients for surgery.
• Circulate surgical cases.
