About The Position
St. Mary's Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work full-time as an Operating Room RN in a multispecialty surgery center. The nurse will contribute to the safety and success of surgical procedures across various specialties and support a positive patient experience. The role includes no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered. The pay range is $36.22 to $54.33 per hour, with wages determined in part by qualifications and experience.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of three years of experience in operating room nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare and set up the operating room for a variety of procedures.
- Assess and monitor patients throughout surgical interventions to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Administer medications and assist with anesthesia as required.
- Maintain sterile techniques and aseptic conditions in the operating room.
- Provide postoperative care and coordinate patient recovery.
- Uphold infection control standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Serve as backup scrub tech as needed.
