About The Position

Shrewsbury Surgery Center is seeking a full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide nursing care and services during surgical cases. The role includes positioning and preparing patients and circulating cases. The nurse should have experience with surgical procedures in ENT, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry, spine, and urology.

Shrewsbury Surgery Center provides ambulatory surgical services as an alternative to hospital care and is accredited by The Joint Commission.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS certification as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with surgical procedures in ENT, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedic, pain management, plastic, podiatry, spine, and urology specialties.
