Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse
About The Position
Select Physicians Surgery Center is hiring an Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures. The nurse serves as a resource and provides guidance to non-licensed personnel. Patient populations include adults, older adults through geriatric patients, and pediatric patients from one month through adolescence. The center provides surgical services in ear, nose, sinus, throat, ENT plastics, and urology, using state-of-the-art equipment. Responsibilities
- Assist with equipment and processing of necessary tools.
- Serve as a patient advocate and ensure patient safety at all times.
- Assist the surgeon with invasive procedures.
- Assist with positioning the patient.
- Monitor the patient's condition throughout the surgical process and respond quickly to changes.
- Maintain the sterile field at all times.
- Apply clinical judgment and assessment skills.
- Provide guidance to non-licensed personnel.
