Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse
About The Position
Select Physicians Surgery Center is hiring an Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse. The center provides a high-quality, service-oriented environment for surgical procedures and uses state-of-the-art equipment to support procedures in ear, nose, sinus, throat, ENT plastics, and urology. The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for nursing activities related to patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures and serves as a resource, providing guidance to non-licensed personnel. The role cares for adult patients, including older adults through geriatric patients, as well as pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence.
Responsibilities
- Assist with equipment and processing necessary tools.
- Serve as a patient advocate and ensure patient safety at all times.
- Assist the surgeon with invasive procedures.
- Assist with positioning the patient.
- Monitor the patient's condition throughout the surgical process and respond quickly to changes.
- Maintain the sterile field at all times.
- Use clinical judgment and assessment skills.
