About The Position

The Operating Room Aide is a vital support member who helps ensure surgical environments are prepared, maintained, and reset efficiently to support operational flow and strict hygiene standards. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing operating rooms, setting up equipment, and assisting with the logistics of surgical instruments and supplies. The aide collaborates closely with surgical teams to provide support during and between procedures, while managing multiple tasks under tight schedules and following health and safety protocols. The work is in a fast-paced operating room where focus, clear communication, adaptability, and attention to detail help support safe and efficient care.

Requirements

Obtain Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician (CSCT) certification within 6 months of hire.
Obtain American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Prior healthcare experience.
