About The Position

Stronghold Vegetation Management is hiring an Operating Foreman to lead a zero-turn mowing crew with speed, pride, and accountability. This is a working leadership role where you will be on the mower, setting the pace, while managing quality, safety, and crew performance. The ideal candidate takes pride in clean stripes, tight edges, and finishing routes on time without excuses.

Requirements

• 2+ years commercial mowing experience (zero-turn required)
• Proven experience leading or training others
• Strong understanding of mowing patterns, trimming, and edging
• Valid driver’s license (chauffeur or DOT a plus)
• Reliable, punctual, and coachable

Responsibilities

• Run a zero-turn mowing route efficiently and profitably
• Lead a 2–3 person crew with clear expectations and standards
• Ensure properties meet company quality specs every visit
• Load/unload equipment and maintain a clean, organized truck
• Set the tone for pace, professionalism, and safety
• Train crew members on mowing patterns, trimming, and blowing standards
• Hold crew accountable for attendance, performance, and attitude
• Communicate issues, delays, or site conditions to management
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Identify and report mechanical issues before breakdowns
• Follow all safety procedures and jobsite protocols
