The Foreman is a working foreman position with superior experience and proven success in the leadership position. This role involves enforcing safe working practices, efficiently scheduling crews, maintaining records, assisting fellow workers, and maintaining good customer relations. The Foreman will communicate with customers about project issues and techniques, lead and train team members on pruning techniques, and operate vehicles and equipment safely. Responsibilities also include assisting in safety checks for vegetation management and cleaning, joining storm restoration efforts, ensuring work is carried out as planned, adapting to changes, understanding and adhering to the Line Clearance Contract, communicating effectively with crew members, ensuring personal and crew safety, participating in ongoing training, coordinating and inspecting crew work, and complying with company reporting procedures. The Foreman will also assist in on-the-job training for climbers and bucket operators, accept accountability for crew availability, inspect PPE, and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools. Effective communication with crew members regarding work directives and customer interactions is crucial. The role requires demonstrating knowledge and experience from subordinate positions and strictly following Company Safety Rules and Policies.
