About The Position

Performance Contracting is seeking a Foreman for its PCI Austin 549 operations based in Austin, TX. This individual will be responsible for overall crew safety, performance, productivity, and work quality for assigned projects. They will collaborate with the superintendent and project manager to coordinate project startup, execution, and close-out. The Foreman will use look-ahead schedules, manpower forecasts, and project specifications to provide optimum scheduling of material, manpower, and crew mix. They will systematically direct and assign crew field activities to achieve maximum productivity while maintaining PCG standards of quality, performance, and workplace safety. Creating and maintaining positive relationships with all trades, vendors, co-workers, and customers to maximize effectiveness and efficiency is key. The Foreman will convey a professional and positive attitude as the onsite representative of the branch and corporation, and use available technology to perform job tasks efficiently. This position requires the ability to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Performs other related duties as assigned. On-the-job training is offered. This position is safety-sensitive.

Requirements

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in a Foreman/Supervisor role
• Must have a track record of successfully performing supervisory responsibilities
• Must have strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Proficient in reading cold formed metal framing shop drawings
• Managed a crew size of 20+ craftsmen
• Understanding of wall framing limiting heights and UL assemblies
• Proficient in quality control
• Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
• Physically able to perform assigned tasks
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
