About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Fine Grade Foreman to lead and manage site grading and earthwork operations. This role requires a strong background in site preparation, excavation, and grading, along with proven leadership skills to supervise crews and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Requirements

5+ years of grading or earthwork experience, with at least 2 year in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of grading, excavation, and site development practices
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and grade stakes
Experience with and without GPS machine control systems
Strong leadership and communication skills
Valid driver’s license , and clean driving record is required
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate grading crews and daily job site activities
Plan and execute site grading, excavation, and earthmoving operations
Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes
Ensure proper site layout, elevations, and drainage requirements are met
Operate and oversee heavy equipment such as dozers, graders, and excavators
Monitor job progress, productivity, and quality of work
Enforce safety policies and maintain OSHA compliance
Communicate with project managers, surveyors, and team members
Track materials, equipment usage, and labor hours
Identify and resolve issues related to soil conditions, weather, or site constraints
