About The Position
The UAB Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking an open rank/open tenure faculty applicant with an M.D. or D.O. degree to join its Women’s Reproductive Healthcare portfolio. The primary focus of this position is to provide coverage for the Labor & Delivery unit. The faculty member may also be involved in educating medical students, residents, and fellows within the department. The UAB Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is a highly-ranked NIH-funded program committed to advancing research, education, and implementation efforts in Maternal Fetal Medicine and women's health.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Experience in Osteopathic Medicine.
- Experience in Women’s Health and/or Women’s Education.
- Experience in Nursing.
- Experience in Public Health.
- Or a closely comparable field.
Responsibilities
- Cover the Labor & Delivery unit.
- Educate medical students, residents, and fellows within the department.
