About The Position

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology team. This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at Children’s Wisconsin Yabuki Tower. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility by American Board of Obstrerics and Gynecology
• State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinical care for patients from birth to age 22
• Provide surgical care to patients age 0-18 at CW, and facilitate some surgical procedures through Froedtert for older teen and young adult patients
• Provide consultation for local pediatricians in and out of the Children’s Wisconsin Network
• Provide consultation for adolescent medicine providers within our division
• Provide EConsult through Epic when requested
• Maintain good standing by completing BLS, Annual provider education, and maintenance of privileges through Children’s physician services
• Educate Adolescent Medicine fellows, OBGYN, Pediatric and Med/Peds residents, and medical students in the outpatient and inpatient settings
• Participate in Adolescent Medicine fellow evaluation and Clinical Competency Committee meetings
• Cover the Froedtert Birth Center on weekdays (OB staff), weeknights and weekends (Call).
• Cover the Froedtert OBED on weekdays, weeknights and weekends
• Provide consultation for GYN concerns in the Froedtert Adult ED and CW ED
• Provide supervision for OBGYN, FM and ED residents in the Birth Center, ORs and in the OBED
