About The Position

Labcorp is seeking an Onsite Lab Support Clerk to join their team in Janesville, WI. This role involves preparing laboratory specimens for analysis and testing, communicating with client office staff, and troubleshooting customer and specimen issues. The position requires accurate data entry of patient information, proper labeling and packing of specimens for shipping, and performing special services like spinning, freezing, and splitting as needed. The role is fast-paced and high-throughput, located onsite with a client office, and focuses on clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting, and data entry.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED or equivalent
1 year or more experience in laboratory or accessioning or production or manufacturing
Comfortable handling biological specimens
Ability to accurately identify specimens
Experience working in a team environment
Strong data entry and organizational skills
High level of attention to detail
Experience with MS Office
Able to lift up to 40lbs.
Able to pass a standardized color blind test

Nice To Haves

1 year or more of medical or patient facing healthcare experience

Responsibilities

Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
