About The Position

LabCorp is seeking an Onsite Lab Support Clerk to join our team in Elkhart, Indiana. This role involves preparing laboratory specimens for analysis and testing, communicating effectively with client office staff, and troubleshooting customer and specimen issues. The position requires accurate data entry of patient information, proper labeling and packing of specimens, and performing special services like spinning, freezing, and splitting as needed. The Hospital Reference Test Clerk will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment located onsite with one of our client offices. Requirements

High School diploma or GED or equivalent
1 year or more experience in laboratory or accessioning or production or manufacturing
Comfortable handling biological specimens
Ability to accurately identify specimens
Experience working in a team environment
Strong data entry and organizational skills
High level of attention to detail
Experience with MS Office
Able to lift up to 40lbs.
Able to pass a standardized color blind test
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
Be at least 21 years’ old
This position requires you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
