About The Position
As a Quality Assurance Engineering Intern, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of Onshape software products. You will work alongside engineering and product teams to test new functionality, identify and troubleshoot issues, and support improvements to testing processes. Onshape is a cloud-native, SaaS product development platform combining computer-aided design (CAD), data management, collaboration tools, and business analytics.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Interest in software testing, quality assurance, or product development.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented, with an interest in investigating and troubleshooting issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to CAD or other engineering/software tools.
- Familiarity with software testing or test automation.
- Basic programming or scripting experience.
- Familiarity with GitHub, APIs, CI/CD, or similar development tools.
Responsibilities
- Test and validate new product features and functionality.
- Identify, document, and help troubleshoot software issues.
- Create and maintain test cases.
- Support manual and automated testing efforts.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product teams, and other partners.
- Learn about and contribute to software development and release processes.
