About The Position

As a Quality Assurance Engineering Intern, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of PTC’s software products. You will work with engineering and product teams to test new functionality, identify and troubleshoot issues, and support improvements to testing processes. Onshape is a cloud-native software-as-a-service product development platform that combines CAD with data management and collaboration tools.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Interest in software testing, quality assurance, or product development.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, with an interest in investigating and troubleshooting issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employment-based immigration sponsorship from PTC.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to CAD or other engineering/software tools.
• Familiarity with software testing or test automation.
• Basic programming or scripting experience.
• Familiarity with GitHub, APIs, CI/CD, or similar development tools.

Responsibilities

• Test and validate new product features and functionality.
• Identify, document, and help troubleshoot software issues.
• Create and maintain test cases.
• Support manual and automated testing efforts.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product teams, and other partners.
• Learn about and contribute to software development and release processes.
