About The Position
TELUS Digital AI Community is seeking individuals to join their global AI Community, a network of contributors who help customers collect, enhance, train, translate, and localize content to build better AI models. This role involves conducting structured quality audits on spatial and mapping datasets, verifying, evaluating, and validating complex geographic and business information using advanced mapping tools and detailed reference materials. The work ensures the accuracy of digital maps, which is crucial for navigation and discovery. Contributors will be part of a project that is foundational to how people interact with geographic information.
Requirements
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish (native or near-native proficiency required).
- Residency in USA for the last 5 consecutive years.
- Being open to work across a diverse set of Task Types (e.g. Maps, News, Audio tasks, Relevance).
- Advanced analytical thinking and methodical problem-solving ability.
- Deep regional, cultural, and geographic knowledge of USA.
- Comfort with rigorous guideline interpretation and consistent framework application.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in analytical, technical, or research disciplines (strongly preferred).
- Stable internet connection and access to a personal computer.
Responsibilities
- Conduct structured quality audits on spatial datasets using mapping platforms, search directories, and GIS-standard evaluation tools.
- Evaluate and cross-reference complex business, geographic, and cultural data entries against multiple authoritative sources.
- Perform root-cause analysis when spatial data points conflict across sources, documenting the discrepancy with precise reasoning.
- Apply detailed evaluation frameworks with consistency and rigor across dozens of geographic, business, and cultural data variations.
- Be open to work across a diverse set of Task Types (e.g. Maps, News, Audio tasks, Relevance).
- Provide structured feedback that helps refine mapping algorithms and improve geographic intelligence.
