About The Position

TELUS Digital’s AI Community is seeking a Spanish-speaking Online Data Analyst to conduct structured quality audits of spatial and mapping datasets. The work involves verifying, evaluating, and validating complex geographic and business information using mapping tools and reference materials. Contributors may also work across other task types, including News, Audio, and Relevance.

The role is remote and offers flexibility to choose when and how much to work, subject to project availability and quality requirements. Contributors receive onboarding materials and guidelines, performance feedback tied to quality metrics, and access to contributor operations support. Compensation is based on completed tasks and project availability; estimated earnings may vary with task volume, program requirements, quality, and productivity. This is an independent contractor opportunity and does not create an employment relationship with TELUS Digital.

Requirements

• Professional fluency in English and Spanish, with native or near-native proficiency required.
• Residency in the USA for the last five consecutive years.
• Advanced analytical thinking and methodical problem-solving ability.
• Deep regional, cultural, and geographic knowledge of the USA.
• Comfort with rigorous guideline interpretation and consistent framework application.
• Stable internet connection and access to a personal computer.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in analytical, technical, or research disciplines is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured quality audits on spatial datasets using mapping platforms, search directories, and GIS-standard evaluation tools.
• Evaluate and cross-reference business, geographic, and cultural data entries against multiple authoritative sources.
• Perform root-cause analysis when spatial data points conflict across sources and document discrepancies with precise reasoning.
• Apply evaluation frameworks consistently across geographic, business, and cultural data variations.
• Be open to working across task types such as Maps, News, Audio, and Relevance.
• Provide structured feedback to help refine mapping algorithms and improve geographic intelligence.
